HAPPY NEW YEAR! 01/01/2010
Phew, the bubu Christmas party was a fab end to a fantastic year for us!
We'd like to thank everyone who supported us throughout 2009. We'll be
back on the 5th March 2010, why March? I hear you cry...Well we have
been listening to your feedback over the last few months and we are going
to make a few changes to the bubu format, but we'll be back, bigger better
and hairier than ever!

we're back bigger, better and hairier than ever! Featuring tunes from DJ

| Site update -Times they are a changing! 25/01/2010 Hi folks its the bubu boys here. Firstly let us apologise for lack of site updates, a combination of technical problems resulted in us being unable to upload new material to the site. The problems should all be fixed now... Fingers crossed! We have a very exciting announcement coming soon regarding our comeback on March the 5th... oooh yes! We can't tell you just yet! Keep checking the website and our Facebook as it will be posted soon! In meantime please enjoy the photos from our Christmas Party! |

Robert Brown of Bear Force One fame has made us a jingle for use in the upcoming bubu TV Vod casts which we are working on at the moment and we love it! Hey Guys! Robert here! WOW! Just let me start by saying a massive
THANK YOU to each and every one of you who attended my re-launch of
BUBU last Friday! I was completely overwhelmed! The crowd was
amazing!!! I really appreciated the feedback I've received since! A big shout
out to the fantastic Kenny K, who's music sent sooooo much energy round
the building! Also, a big thanks to Henry and friends from the Rainbow
Project who handed out condoms and also to the Ulster Titans that turned
up! We wanna see you boys in those gorgeous kits next time!!!
What can I say? Hopefully we can now progress to making BUBU a more
complete night for all you beautiful Bears, Cubs and chasers who attended!
I can promise bigger and better things ahead!
And finally! Just to remind you all, the next BUBU is the 9th Friday in April,
the 9th! Because of the Good Friday thing we have to move it! Hope it
gives you time to change your schedules!

We can confirm that the next bubu bear night is happening on Friday 7th May 2010 with DJ Kenny Kane and MC Robert Brown As per usual all three floors will be open across Dubarrys Bar. Pub - Club - Cruise, all in the one venue! While we are a Bear event, we aim to offer an inclusive, friendly and welcoming alternative to the mainstream gay scene, for Gay, Bi, MSM guys of all shapes and sizes. The name bubu is represents the concept - Be yoU, Be yoUrself - Which is what the night is all about, being yourself and having fun! |

| Next bubu Fri 2nd July. 10/06/2010 Hey guys! WOW! What can I say! Our last BuBu was outstanding! We had record numbers! And everyone had a blast! Just want to say a big THANK YOU to each and everyone of you who made the effort to come out on the night! It's very heart-warming to see so many great looking guys getting it on! Our CHILLAX ed top floor was also a big hit with those wanting to take things a little slower, a big shout to Mr Mark Webb your table-service waiter for such an attentive job! A big shout out to the Las Vegas bears, all 6ft4 of them and also for an energized visit from our Pennsylvania and Dublin bears, who actually prolonged their trip by a further 3 days after BuBu!!!! You know who you are guys!!! Worth mentioning is the new Manchester-based Bear band CUBSTARS! 5 young hairy cubs set to make your pulses race! They also have our very own Belfast-bread Brian Holland as a member!!! Well done Mr Holland!!!! We are soooo in your corner! Check out their Facebook details, they're gonna be one to watch out for! So! Hope to see you up and able for our next 2nd July BuBu! Kenny K is still keeping the BPM's well above normal standards on the second floor, so prepare yourselves for our next sweaty installment! of you who attended our last BUBU! Mr Kenny k certainly kept it
busy on the 2nd floor! And you seemed to enjoy our more chilled
out 3rd floor!
OK! BUBU Pride on 30th July!!!
I can confirm we have official sponsorship for Pride by Thierry
Mugler Parfum! Mugler have very kindly arranged fantastic
goodie bags and a few amazing raffle prizes to be auctioned off!
Declan has very kindly arranged a special promotion that
evening and donated free shots at midnight to everyone there
also!
And, for those of you who get a bit peckish during the course of
Pride, we have a BBQ stall outside, under our awnings!
BUBU also is giving discounted tickets to the Pipeworks Sauna
Fetish Party that runs after BUBU ends!!
Looking forward to welcoming our Dublin Bears as well!
